Fairbanks commercial carpet cleaning with a unique upholstery ‘diversion’ and almost crying over “spilled milk” :-)

There we are happily cleaning a large store this morning….

Cleaning a large store carpet in Fairbanks in the morning before real heavy foot traffic starts
Business carpet cleaning in Fairbanks is a great way to start your day :-). We arrive before the bulk of your customer traffic arrives. We can come early or late… who wants sleep when they can clean carpet with us???
Pre-treating a carpet correctly is a large part of the cleaning solution for most any fabric floor covering.
Yes! Can it get much better? Local businesses provide great parking for those pesky customers to walk in from … bringing asphalt oils, gravel, ice melt and all kinds of wonderful things… ALL for us!

… Then! Poof! The manager arrives in a very nice vehicle with a new 1/2 gallon of dairy creamer poured into the back seat!

Nothing quite like trying to remove dairy products from upholstery fabric and cushions… It was very handy to have us at the right place at the right time :-).

Upholstery fabric cleaning with saturation of stuffing provides a special challenge
In order to solve a problem like an organic material fabric saturation like this, it takes a lot more than cleaning the surface. In fact, cleaning wouldn’t really remove or solve this spill as we don’t have access to all areas of contamination.

Just another great way to start your day as a carpet cleaner in paradise :-)!

Yes, you are correct, we fight gravity to solve almost all our fabric floor covering/upholstery covering problems.  This is an example of where, without the help of an upholstery shop, the end of our “cleaning limits” is reached and we have to look to other solutions to “remove” soiling conditions.

This particular problem was solved by saturating the affected areas with bacteria that removed the soil/organics from the fabric for us… even where we couldn’t see them.  Yes, we did win in this case: odor lets you know within hours/a day what was missed, if anything :-).

Fairbanks – North Pole carpet cleaning security helped by FedEx Office

We are always looking for ways to improve our service, the quality of our cleaning and the security/comfort of our customers. A fellow named Stryder working at the Fairbank’s FedEx Office on 3rd street went above and beyond to help us add personal photo ID badges for all of us working in the field. Unbelievably helpful individual!

Talk about going the extra mile! Stryder at the Fairbanks FedX office helped this old carpet cleaner A BUNCH!
Of course I tried to hire him! Service and concern for the customer like this is more and more a rare find… Watch out FedX! He is obviously one of our coworkers displaced working for you folks! We want him back!

Here he is with our first four employee ID photo badges.

No, Styder isn’t working with us yet :-).  I’ll keep you updated !

Update!!!!  One of my badges was starting to separate and we had new ones to update (9/2014) AND YES!  Stryder is still there!

Right away in the interim, in order to expedite things and allow me to search for the earlier thumb drive he provided us, he without hesitation grabbed the failing badge and repaired it/trimmed it, arraigned with me to solve all the issues and again provided detailed instructions that were easy enough for a carpet cleaner to understand!!

It worked first time!!!!!  And now we have updated/new badges that are beeeeeeeaaaaaaaauuutiful once more!

THANK YOU STRYDER!  (and, I guess FedX too :-)).

Yes Stryder is still incredible at his job!
THANK YOU AGAIN STRYDER! This guy is awesome! And no, he STILL doesn’t get excited about cleaning carpets with us … bummer.

Fairbanks office carpet salvage cleaning video

Ok, so I’m really working on becoming a computer guru!

Thank You TRSOrg.com for the training videos!

[tubepress video=Ilzo0oYNaXA]

Since taking the videos, I’ve learned more specific details regarding the building use.  The retiring business owner had been there for over 27 years running a fleet auto mechanics/repair business without ever cleaning the carpet.  When we started, the carpet fiber was barely visible above the layers of oil, grease, etc ground into it.

We were able to salvage the carpet and the building is once again leased.

Beautiful Fairbanks day started with Vitality!! (The Clinic :-)

What a great approach to health! What a neat facility! Great way to start your cleaning day… A peaceful, super well kept up clinic with super nice folks to work with!

The Vitality clinic off Farmer's Loop road has added "Pristine Clean" carpet to the classroom facility
Great to be their client, great to have them as my client! Really nice folks working out of a really nice place…. now with really clean carpet :-).
One clean classroom with soft, plush, Trinity renewed carpet!
This one handy versatile space that is put into very good use in our community.

The areas we cleaned (touched up) was their classroom and meeting areas… They seem to have all aspects is a person’s health covered.

Ok, so specializing in pet carpet cleaning has ‘some’ drawbacks…

My coworker Nathan had a rough introduction to the new family pet :-)…. Obviously the dog (over 150lbs) wasn’t serious, but serious enough to get Nathan’s attention.

Solving carpet/flooring pet issues does bring some special 'challenges' at times
We, for the most part, have never met a pet that we don’t love… sometimes however, love can hurt :-).

This is his thigh about 1/2 way up.

No, out of thousands of carpets with thousands of different types of pets with all kinds of ‘pet’ attitudes, none have us have ever had a problem.. until this one :-)… and even this was more of a ‘shock’ than ‘pain’, although it hurt Nathan a lot for a couple of days.

Dog was terrific, people (new owners on their first day) were great.  Dog was unwittingly frighted and just reacted.  -Had the dog wanted to do more, he was certainly equipped to have really hurt any person and most Grizzly bears would be nervous; BIG dog :-).

Fairbanks pets help carpet cleaners get great before/after shots! :-)

Pets sometimes add body oils that bring a whole new dimension to traffic lane cleaning… And leave us with really good photo opportunities ;-).

Here are a couple of today’s ‘before’ photos:

Pet soiling in hallway traffic lanes
Pet/animal fur sometimes can add body oils that really help hold soiling.
Pet body oils holding soil in traffic lanes in a living room
Another example where, in this case, the pet body oils help us humans clean our shoes as well 🙂

Then after cleaning:

After cleaning pet soiling
Not quite dry, but you can see the after difference already. With agitation/dwell time, the oils can be broke down so the soils are released and removed
After cleaning pet soiling example number 2
Again, this isn’t quite dry, but enough that the contrast is clear from the starting point. We love it when our customers think “it can’t be done” 🙂

Clean fluffy vibrant carpet again! As close to new as possible without risk of fiber damage… Not just cleaned, but renewed.

One happy member company! Trinity Renewal Systems.

UV – black light pet urine identification for decontamination

Been working on ways to show urine fluorescence with a camera for years… We are making headway!:

Fluorescence of urine using a blacklight
In the Fairbanks/North Pole area, the use of a blacklight to locate problem areas in carpets is almost a daily (or nightly) occurrence. Mostly for urine, but handy for a lot of things! (like soap spills, carpet distortions, food/drink spills, etc). Also, this photo shows that it it isn’t just the carpet that shows the urine contamination! Males dogs especially can ‘creatively’ mark their territory… Walls/Baseboards/Baseboard heater vents/stair banisters.. and on and on….
More experiments to show blacklight fluorescence on photos... gaining on it!
We are continuing to experiment. This house is a great place for it… literally hundreds of urine spots, some through the pad into the sub-floor (why we pulled the carpet).
Very clear "greenish-yellow" hue indicating pet urine contamination
Great picture where the pet urine spots are visible on the picture.

Some of the pictures won’t be as clear as others, but we are getting better! Expand the pictures! You can see the outlines of contamination clearly.

You can also see where we have pulled the carpet and exposed the carpet cushion/sub-floor… There is also a picture showing the fluorescence on/in the baseboard heaters-Sheetrock.

Carpet cleaning from all over the United States!

Great to have unlimited nationwide support and training backed with online live video conferencing weekly training & support meetings!

After years and years of “going it alone”…. Wow! Very awesome to be a part of a team that wants to have the most satisfied group of customers in the world!

Internet based training to help carpet cleaners
A neat concept! For the last year or so, we have been working at easier ways to connect as carpet cleaners and help each of us have more satisfied customers through greater skill. It has been terrific! And getting even better!

The picture above is the beginning of our Monday night meeting.

Often, specific subjects are covered that will help all of our individual businesses serve our customers better by being more effective at what we do (providing a better end product for a more affordable price).

When a specific subject isn’t scheduled, then we pick the most common topics that are of interest to the group participating in that evenings meeting…. Subjects change quickly and a lot of ground is covered by individual business owners with 100’s of years combined experience.
