In the hills AGAIN testing those Blizzack tires! Chena Ridge & Chena Pump carpet cleanings are becoming my second homes…

Carpet cleaning: Chena Pump, Chena Ridge, Roland Road, Chena Hills, Hidden Drive, Shypoke, etc areas
Anywhere off Chena Pump/Chena Ridge these weeks has been our company residence… man these ‘hills’ can be exciting!

Always exciting to get a flurry of calls from a particular area of town… maybe it is once our vans start being seen it is a good reminder for folks?  If you live in the Chena Pump, Chena Ridge, Roland Road, Chena Hills, Hidden Drive, Shypoke, etc areas…. You know what I mean!  Hard to miss the subtle “45Clean” vans.  Keep calling, we need to hone our winter driving skills early this year and there is very few places that offer the challenges your neighborhoods can :-).  THANK YOU!

I’m thinking that our company with multiple vans may have just really missed out not offering to test tires for manufacturers?  Wooooohooooo!  that could be my next big business move!  I do go through some tires!

Everywhere! Chena Hot Springs road, Geist, Ester, Ft. Wainwright, North Pole and…. Carpet cleaning!

The university west duplex pictured here had a resident that forgot to train their pet.. we had nearly ten man-hours making the carpet like new again.

North Pole short and long term rental unit carpets: cleaning, repairs, protecting
Some of my commercial clients have great places to work: easy access and constantly changing cleaning needs/desires. This unit is kept up nice and always offers a new challenge.
South Fairbanks 6 plex carpet cleaning
With the constant improvements this property owner is making, you wouldn’t recognize the buildings today versus when I started keeping the carpets up many years ago. Unlike many landlord’s, he is also constantly making structural/livability improvements in spite of the limited ‘return on investment’ that he gains.

Busy few days in a chilly winter wonderland :-)….

Jobs this last few days before thanksgiving have had us covering most of the borough. Nice to get out and refresh your memory with a few of the neat spots around town that you haven’t been to in a while… One really does forget how large and diverse this little dot in the middle of the state is!

Also you forget just how bad gas mileage gets when it’s this cold…. 🙁 …

Fairbanks hidden mountain mansion paradise… Now with Trinity “renewed” carpet!

Carpet cleaning in a breathtaking mountaintop mansion outside of Fairbanks
Spectacular views, hilltop warmth and incredible house now with a Trinity “Renewal” clean carpet

Yep, the Fairbanks & North Pole area do have several ‘hidden’ beauty’s! Like today, some with their own road even!

Today started with thousands of square feet of downtown Fairbanks commercial carpet to University West 2 & 3 bedroom LARGE rentals with pet damage repairs to a ‘secret’ hideaway mountaintop mansion!!!!!

It is hard to get bored!

North Pole carpet renewal

Another blustery winter day with another warm cozy place to go work… This afternoons carpet job had previously been professionally cleaned and a great way to end the day’s work! Have a few jobs this week where we get to witness first hand how well the Trinity Renewal Systems can truly make a carpet as close to new again as possible…. Without harm to the fiber. Even making an obvious difference to those carpets just cleaned days ago.

Now to try and add a video :-)…. :

Man, this old carpet cleaner is really really stretching out with this computer stuff, does keep my “mind alive” to say the least :-).  It worked!!!

Fairbanks office furniture cleaning/protecting fun!

Some days you just have “pinch yourself” when you realize how great the day is scheduled to be.

Office upholstery cleaning today
46 chairs in this office of the 63 total cleaned/protected today!

It is always fun for a fabric guy to work with materials that have scheduled care.  Absolute proof that what we learn in all the classes is true: proper care of fabric floor/furniture coverings virtually eliminate “wear” and the coverings will last virtually forever in great condition.  Today it was really neat to witness over the job how much softer/brighter the fabrics were (over 8 hours allowed me the time to fully dry almost all the furniture cleaned/protected).

Of course, the first group of 20 chairs helped me to discover muscles in my back that I didn’t remember existing, the second group of 20 chairs confirmed the location of those muscles, the third group of twenty chairs allowed me to have pinpoint accuracy and long “conversations” with each muscle fiber…. then the last 3 chairs took the longest to clean: Had to hold my phone in one hand in case I needed to dial 911.. :-).

It is tough that experience always has the side effect of becoming OLDER … just think, what if I could have produced this quality when I was 30 years younger????  :-).

What happened to our global warming! I love cleaning carpet in those nice warm Fairbanks and North Pole homes, businesses, etc! Great “ice road trucker” picture

Sharing carpet cleaning warehouse space with an "ice road" trucker
Little snow/cold for only November 1st, eh? Very nice to be able to tease my ‘shopmate’ about how comfortable it is to clean carpet & tile-grout in Fairbanks/North Pole than it is to drive north!

In the winter, I share a shop with an “ice road trucker” that runs three semi’s to Prudoe Bay and beyond several times per week,… This is a picture from yesterday where they had to ‘carve’ through 13′ of fresh snow …

I love carpet cleaning those nice warm places!

Sample North Pole rental carpet repair from a “doggy dig”

Pet digs can be a repair challenge, very often harder than wax, burns, set dyes, etc.
Sometimes the little doggy really wants “out of here”… If he/she can’t go over, around or through, then under is the only option
Repairing carpet in steps, removing bad, finding/removing a patch and re-installing it where it is nearly invisible
Damaged area removed, new tape installed, piece removed from the back of a closet to replace/match
Making carpet repairs that are nearly invisible
Almost finished! Soon hardly noticeable.

Damaged carpet can often be repaired for a tiny fraction of the cost of replacement.  Areas damaged by pets, dyes that are ‘set’ from spills, burns in the carpet, etc are permanent, however, a razor and reasonably matching carpet can solve even the worst “permanent” problems.

Cupcake red/purple frosting on BRAND NEW Fairbanks carpet tragedy :-(…. Holiday colors now gone & festivity’s returned with some reducing bleach, patience and steam! :-)

Dyes removed from brand new commercial carpet
How could this be a tragedy!?! Yummy! Colors are difficult to remove without damage to the existing fiber, but we love a challenge.

If you have to be stuck in a conference room, what a great way to suffer….  SUPER nice coffee maker just out of sight as well…

Using steam to accelerate the reducing agents used to remove the dyes
A steamer, absorbent cotton/cotton blend and microfiber pads with steam/reducing agents to remove dyes from carpet

The beginning process of adding reducing agents to dyes in the carpet and warming up the steamer to help ‘open’ the dye sites

What dye transfer looks like when removing it from carpet
Dye transfer from carpet to a cotton blend pad using a reducing agent, often we also will have to use oxidizing agents as well on certain natural & synthetic dyes to get the best results.

Sample of the slow transfer process to remove foreign dyes from the carpet without removing carpet color… reducing agents, gentle agitation, steam, blot, repeat, repeat, repeat…. try to keep your mind off the cupcakes still on the table behind you….

The public doesn’t even yet have access to this very very nice medical facility… talk about a cupcake ‘bummer’ :-).

Hamilton Acres now has yet another “pristinely” clean carpet!

If you moved to a rental property and didn’t find absolutely awesome looking-feeling carpet… You have been slighted by your rental agent! :-). Call them and see if there is still time to start your lease with great carpet by calling us! …. Of course by asking nicely….

Fairbanks Hamilton Acres area rental carpet cleaning
Like all carpets we clean, our goal is to get the carpet in as close to “new condition” as we possibly can without risk of damage to the fiber. This adds a lot of value to our rental property owners/managers that have to ‘show’ apartments to re-rent them.

One of our last steps! Drying, post vacuuming and grooming the carpet.

Beautiful home with attached rental unit right on the Chena River. :-).

Can life get better? Trinity “Renewing” carpets and we get paid to do it!

Really enjoyable to do a rental ‘turnover’ when you can absolutely amaze both the residents and the landlord/property manager.

3 levels of Fairbanks Carpet Cleaning FUN!!!

Wow! Did we ever make a difference in this home! Interior pictures before/after weren’t taken with sufficient light, but cleaning the carpet and two staircases was like painting an in finished wall. VERY AWESOME.

A lot of the traffic areas had been heavily soiled AND abraded (scratched). Now there is no way to repair damage to fiber from a abrading, but, as in this case, using “Scotchgard-like” protectors can often make them fully disappear…

Jobs like this always help the old carpet cleaners self-esteem. :-).

Three levels of Fairbanks carpet cleaning fun!
It is sure nice when jobs show a stunning difference in appearance after we are done… not so much that the homeowner sees as much difference, but when it is awesome to us as the technicians as well!
