Great way to end a dark and frosty cold day in Fairbanks.
Now if I can just get this fat ‘ole body of mine to hold up, I could just keep cleaning carpets/floors 24 hours per day.
I would never have to come home and do any paperwork! Wow! Life could get even ‘gooder’!
It will never cease to amaze me on exactly how much soil can be hidden in a quality fabric floor covering… Helps me to understand why carpet is referred to as the largest filter basically found anywhere: the carpet ‘filter’ does it’s job!
For those of you that are older than me (there are very few :-)) -Did you notice a period in your life when "all of a sudden" your friends, customers, etc. started looking/acting MUCH OLDER? Then your kids have you over to "their place"? YIPES! I thought this process was for everybody else…. Surely not me???….
No wonder carpet cleaning equipment is getting soooo heavy these days.
Always exciting to get a flurry of calls from a particular area of town… maybe it is once our vans start being seen it is a good reminder for folks? If you live in the Chena Pump, Chena Ridge, Roland Road, Chena Hills, Hidden Drive, Shypoke, etc areas…. You know what I mean! Hard to miss the subtle “45Clean” vans. Keep calling, we need to hone our winter driving skills early this year and there is very few places that offer the challenges your neighborhoods can :-). THANK YOU!
I’m thinking that our company with multiple vans may have just really missed out not offering to test tires for manufacturers? Wooooohooooo! that could be my next big business move! I do go through some tires!
Jobs this last few days before thanksgiving have had us covering most of the borough. Nice to get out and refresh your memory with a few of the neat spots around town that you haven’t been to in a while… One really does forget how large and diverse this little dot in the middle of the state is!
Also you forget just how bad gas mileage gets when it’s this cold…. 🙁 …
Yep, the Fairbanks & North Pole area do have several ‘hidden’ beauty’s! Like today, some with their own road even!
Today started with thousands of square feet of downtown Fairbanks commercial carpet to University West 2 & 3 bedroom LARGE rentals with pet damage repairs to a ‘secret’ hideaway mountaintop mansion!!!!!
Another blustery winter day with another warm cozy place to go work… This afternoons carpet job had previously been professionally cleaned and a great way to end the day’s work! Have a few jobs this week where we get to witness first hand how well the Trinity Renewal Systems can truly make a carpet as close to new again as possible…. Without harm to the fiber. Even making an obvious difference to those carpets just cleaned days ago.
Now to try and add a video :-)…. :

Man, this old carpet cleaner is really really stretching out with this computer stuff, does keep my “mind alive” to say the least :-). It worked!!!
Some days you just have “pinch yourself” when you realize how great the day is scheduled to be.
It is always fun for a fabric guy to work with materials that have scheduled care. Absolute proof that what we learn in all the classes is true: proper care of fabric floor/furniture coverings virtually eliminate “wear” and the coverings will last virtually forever in great condition. Today it was really neat to witness over the job how much softer/brighter the fabrics were (over 8 hours allowed me the time to fully dry almost all the furniture cleaned/protected).
Of course, the first group of 20 chairs helped me to discover muscles in my back that I didn’t remember existing, the second group of 20 chairs confirmed the location of those muscles, the third group of twenty chairs allowed me to have pinpoint accuracy and long “conversations” with each muscle fiber…. then the last 3 chairs took the longest to clean: Had to hold my phone in one hand in case I needed to dial 911.. :-).
It is tough that experience always has the side effect of becoming OLDER … just think, what if I could have produced this quality when I was 30 years younger???? :-).
In the winter, I share a shop with an “ice road trucker” that runs three semi’s to Prudoe Bay and beyond several times per week,… This is a picture from yesterday where they had to ‘carve’ through 13′ of fresh snow …
