Sample North Pole rental carpet repair from a “doggy dig”

Pet digs can be a repair challenge, very often harder than wax, burns, set dyes, etc.
Sometimes the little doggy really wants “out of here”… If he/she can’t go over, around or through, then under is the only option
Repairing carpet in steps, removing bad, finding/removing a patch and re-installing it where it is nearly invisible
Damaged area removed, new tape installed, piece removed from the back of a closet to replace/match
Making carpet repairs that are nearly invisible
Almost finished! Soon hardly noticeable.

Damaged carpet can often be repaired for a tiny fraction of the cost of replacement.  Areas damaged by pets, dyes that are ‘set’ from spills, burns in the carpet, etc are permanent, however, a razor and reasonably matching carpet can solve even the worst “permanent” problems.

Cupcake red/purple frosting on BRAND NEW Fairbanks carpet tragedy :-(…. Holiday colors now gone & festivity’s returned with some reducing bleach, patience and steam! :-)

Dyes removed from brand new commercial carpet
How could this be a tragedy!?! Yummy! Colors are difficult to remove without damage to the existing fiber, but we love a challenge.

If you have to be stuck in a conference room, what a great way to suffer….  SUPER nice coffee maker just out of sight as well…

Using steam to accelerate the reducing agents used to remove the dyes
A steamer, absorbent cotton/cotton blend and microfiber pads with steam/reducing agents to remove dyes from carpet

The beginning process of adding reducing agents to dyes in the carpet and warming up the steamer to help ‘open’ the dye sites

What dye transfer looks like when removing it from carpet
Dye transfer from carpet to a cotton blend pad using a reducing agent, often we also will have to use oxidizing agents as well on certain natural & synthetic dyes to get the best results.

Sample of the slow transfer process to remove foreign dyes from the carpet without removing carpet color… reducing agents, gentle agitation, steam, blot, repeat, repeat, repeat…. try to keep your mind off the cupcakes still on the table behind you….

The public doesn’t even yet have access to this very very nice medical facility… talk about a cupcake ‘bummer’ :-).

Hamilton Acres now has yet another “pristinely” clean carpet!

If you moved to a rental property and didn’t find absolutely awesome looking-feeling carpet… You have been slighted by your rental agent! :-). Call them and see if there is still time to start your lease with great carpet by calling us! …. Of course by asking nicely….

Like all carpets we clean, our goal is to get the carpet in as close to “new condition” as we possibly can without risk of damage to the fiber. This adds a lot of value to our rental property owners/managers that have to ‘show’ apartments to re-rent them.

One of our last steps! Drying, post vacuuming and grooming the carpet.

Beautiful home with attached rental unit right on the Chena River. :-).

Can life get better? Trinity “Renewing” carpets and we get paid to do it!

Really enjoyable to do a rental ‘turnover’ when you can absolutely amaze both the residents and the landlord/property manager.
