Doctor’s offices, Dentist’s offices, Chiropractic clinics, airlines, bingo halls, daycare facilities, university offices, engineering offices, churches, video stores …. And lots more have beautiful, long lasting carpet with our help in the Fairbanks – North Pole areas! Remember, carpets don’t wear out…. They “ugly” out…. The more traffic, the more soil abrasion (scratches) in the fiber thus …they “ugly” out.

One thing I’m realizing as I get older…. Staircases are getting longer and carpeted areas in homes are getting way larger :-).
One of the heaviest trafficked areas of most homes and businesses are the stairs! Add to this the extra pressure (grinding in) that foot traffic adds, the frequency of use, etc. and you have all the needed components to really damage (a braid) carpet fiber.
We not only spend a lot of extra time focused on all heavily trafficked areas including the stairs, but also always use cleaning products that will help guard against future damage from abrasion.
Often when cleaning regular ‘wall to wall’ carpet, we have the opportunity to see/clean some VERY nice oriental wool rugs onsite! Today was one of those days :-).
Onsite area rug cleaning does have some limitations with certain very old hand tied works, but almost always, it is the most convenient way to add life, keep the costs down and really bring out the colors again.
The new management re-opening this facility last year has really helped to add a neat facility for our troops AND their family’s! It has been received well and the folks run a really nice operation…. And for the near future, they have some really clean carpets that are, like the rest of the facility, well maintained.

Learning to see if I can place a link and or a video in my blog. What a terrific trip with two of my three sons! We all got to see a new part of the state that we hadn’t seen before. Lots of BEAUTIFUL places.
Also learned that we are probably stuck within the confines of a “metropolis” like Fairbanks/North Pole! We found very little in the carpet cleaning market north of here :-)…..
If you haven’t had the opportunity to see parts of Alaska, man it is worth it! Although it would have been nice to find a way to spend a bunch of time at each stop… and explore a lot of what we did fly over, we couldn’t have asked Wright’s Air Service to be any kinder to us, my son’s and I will remember the day for a lifetime. THANK YOU!

Doesn’t always work this way, but when it does work it sure saves a lot of money! Amazing what you can accomplish with loads of patience and a little razor blade.
People that think sports, outdoors, games, hobbies are fun?!? …. They just haven’t cleaned carpets for a living! 1400 square foot dining area with loads of goodies to work on… How can life be more fulfilling?

Amazing how much soil a good quality carpet can hide… What seems to be a ‘pristine clean’ carpet sure can be deceiving once you start cleaning it! Neat to see the real color! :-)…
One great thing about carpet: it holds soil and hides it (not like seeing a hard floor where all the dirt is visible). That is a terrific benefit until you consider that even your weight with stocking feet on that same fiber containing soil is now ‘grinding’ the face of the yarns (like sandpaper) and permanently marring it. Like it says on my website; “carpets hardly ever wear out, they only ‘ugly’ out”…
